Visa applications are pretty straight forward once a position is confirmed and you have the Medical Council of New Zealand's approval in principle.
Both hospitals and candidates need to complete appropriate forms which are submitted to the new Zealand High Commission in the country you reside (or closest office). Depending on the period of your stay, you may require police clearances and medicals to be undertaken and submitted with your application.
Once the Medical Council of New Zealand approval has been granted, this document needs to be submitted with your application for a work visa. It can take approximately four weeks to finalise a work visa once all documentation is provided to the New Zealand High Commission.
